The next few pictures are from our last supper as a big group on Thursday night. Cass and Becca got to enjoy one last dinner with us before heading overseas. Bob was unable to join us :o( They had to get their last times in with the babies. Bryant was a big help watching John while mommy finished cooking dinner!
Friday, all but two of our regular Bible Study group got to go see Becca, Cass, & Bob off. We also ran into a few people that we had met at the barracks when we were doing Bible Study there. It was quite an emotional time. We truly will miss them. They were an integral part to our Bible Study, and things won't be the same without their presence and input. I think the realization of how long 15 months actually is, hit that day. I realized that Zavier, & John will both be walking and probably starting to talk. Bryant will keep getting bigger, and Galyn's baby will be over a year old. Then realizing that John & I will likely have to do this all over again next year if/when Daddy's unit deploys made it extra emotional. There were babies as old as John who's daddy's were leaving. I think one of the most precious things I saw was a little boy wearing a shirt that said, "Mommy says Daddy has to leave because he's a hero." We love them and pray for them every night.
Finally, the last few pictures are random ones of John: playing with Daddy in his Bumbo (he can actually hold his head up for a while), watching football while daddy naps, and then some cute poses of him napping. Plus, I had to throw in one where he got to wear his robe. He looks like he's fixing to go into a boxing ring! He had wet through his PJ's, and it was too early to put his clothes for church on, so he got to wear his robe for a while. My was he styling!
